1. How long have you been at SPENGA or instructing at SPENGA?
I’ve been at Spenga since the very start!! I was in the first ever training class of candidates back in 2015!
Fellow instructor Michelle Craven and I were in the same group :)
2. What do you love about WERKING at SPENGA?
I love the members, connections I’ve made, watching them get stronger and also my fellow team
members!! BEST. STAFF. EVER. The workout changes, and there’s flexibility with Spin and Yoga for the
instructors creativity.
3. Fess up, RIDE, REP, or REVIVE? Which is your fav?
REP - all day everyday!!
4. What is your favorite format to teach?
Love turbulence and 30/15! Turbulence because of the mix of heavy and bursts of elevate! 30/15 because I can change tempo and add modifications/progressions easily!
5. What made you get involved in fitness or instructing?
I was an athlete in college, so after I graduated I used to take a spin class to stay in shape and the instructor asked me if I’d be interested in teaching, so I got certified. Then came TRX and strength certifications, then Yoga. I also coach varsity softball and teach Fitness in PE at the high school level - so I’ve always been involved in it.
6. Where can we find you when you are not at SPENGA?
I’m a Master Instructor - so I get the chance to travel to other Spenga locations and train the new instructors, all summer you can find me golfing and walking my dog - and I always love a trip to a fun brewery!
7. What is your fav go to snack/meal after a SPENGA werkout?
Fav snacks - protein shake - LOVE Vital Proteins!! Banana, or hard boiled eggs.
8. What song get’s you hyped?
There’s so many!! In your head-RL Grime, Purple Hat-Sofi Tucker, Say Less-Dillion Francis and Work Bitch-Britney Spears.
